CHAKO has helped in the adoption of over 90 dogs. Our Social Media Coordinator has collection of all of the dogs that we have helped over time. You can find pictures of them HERE! Some of our early adopters can be found below!

Carla Lou was one of our earliest rescued dogs. She went on to Pinups for Pitbulls fame and is currently living the good life with her owner, Pinups founder Deirdre. Carla Lou is about 14 years old and still going strong!

Eva was also one of our early Texas rescues. She went on to excel in obedience with her new owner.

Frankie was dropped off at one of our volunteer's doorsteps. He had a large bump on his forehead and a smaller bump on his rear. Our veterinarian believed he had been kicked and treated his injuries. We found him a home that's showing him humans aren't all bad.

Joey was rescued from the Marsyville shelter. He went on to live with Libby, who is the producer of Beyond the Myth, a documentary about Pit Bulls.

Piper came to us from another northern California shelter and, of course, found someone who loves her, funky eyes and all!
